XDS-GT-1135A Dry Wooden Drum Grinder is specially developed by Xindingsheng for surface treatment of small & medium batch parts. With an octagonal wooden drum as the core component, it is equipped with a 0.75KW precision motor (28r/min stable rotation). Through continuous sliding friction of abrasives, polishing oil and workpieces, it realizes deburring, chamfering and mirror polishing simultaneously.
With a 300L filling capacity (φ1130×710mm drum), it adopts dry processing technology suitable for stainless steel, copper, iron, tinplate and other materials. Integrated with digital monitoring, timing processing and bi-directional rotation, it requires no manual intervention during operation (one operator can manage multiple machines). It is a cost-effective grinding machine for hardware manufacturing, electronic accessories, daily hardware and other industries.

Working Principle

The motor drives the octagonal wooden drum to rotate at 28r/min. Abrasives, polishing oil and workpieces slide and friction continuously to remove burrs/edges, and improve surface finish to mirror effect via polishing oil. Bi-directional rotation eliminates processing dead angles; digital monitoring ensures stable and controllable processing.

Basic Operation

1. Preparation: Check equipment stability, power supply; prepare abrasives, polishing oil and workpieces (ratio: workpiece:abrasive:polishing oil = 1:3:0.5).
2. Loading: Put materials into the drum (max 80% of 300L), seal and compress the drum cover.
3. Operation: Set processing time, start bi-directional rotation, monitor running parameters.
4. Unloading: Stop the machine, dump and separate workpieces from abrasives.
5. Cleaning: Wipe the drum and clean the machine after use.

Routine Maintenance

• Daily: Clean drum residue, check sealing cover and digital panel.
• Weekly: Inspect motor/transmission, tighten fasteners, clean machine surface.
• Monthly: Lubricate bearings every 3 months; check switch and circuit connections.
• Long-term Idle: Clean thoroughly, cover with dust cover, store in dry and ventilated place.
