The GSA-120A is a standard automatic eddy current finishing machine with optimized power & speed control system. It features compact structure, wide speed range, low noise, high grinding efficiency and easy operation.

  • Single-tank eddy grinding structure: Driven by precision MC nylon gears (30% longer service life), the rotating disc generates centrifugal force to form spiral eddy motion for uniform friction grinding.
  • Wear-resistant design: 20mm thick replaceable PU lining (impact-resistant, low replacement cost); thickened steel tank body.
  • Semi-closed grinding tank: With splash-proof guard, optional detachable partition to avoid workpiece collision & scratches.

Application Scope

 

An efficient alternative to vibratory and barrel finishing machines, ideal for medium-batch multi-variety precision parts:

  • Processes ultra-thin, ultra-fine, deformable parts (unprocessable by vibratory machines) and special-shaped/internal hole/dead-corner parts.
  • Widely used for chamfering, deburring, polishing & finishing of hardware stampings, stainless steel fasteners, Al-Zn die castings, CNC lathe parts, automotive accessories, etc.

 

Working Principle

 

Based on centrifugal eddy current grinding: The high-speed rotating disc creates strong centrifugal force, driving abrasives, workpieces and grinding fluid to form high-speed spiral eddy motion. All-round friction & rolling (covering inner holes, dead corners) realizes fast deburring and polishing. Grinding efficiency is 60% higher than traditional vibratory machines, with uniform surface finish, no deformation or scratches.

 

Electrical System & Safety Protection

 

  1. Delta inverter control: 0~200r/min stepless speed regulation (accuracy ±1r/min), adaptable for rough grinding, fine grinding and polishing.
  2. Multiple safety protections: Overload, overcurrent, overheating and flip limit protection, with acousto-optic alarm for abnormalities.
  3. Interlock control: Separator & flip mechanism interlocked with main system to prevent misoperation.
  4. Power filter & surge protection: Ensures stable operation under complex power grid conditions.

 

Installation & Adjustment

 

1.Place on level concrete ground, adjust leveling feet for stability.
2.Motor insulation resistance ≥0.38MΩ (tested by 500V megohmmeter).
3.Connect 380V three-phase four-wire power (grounding resistance ≤4Ω).
4.Set rotating disc gap to 0.8~1.2mm; adjust V-belt tension (1~2cm deflection).
5.Calibrate 90° flip limit via travel switch.

 

Operation & Daily Maintenance

 

Operation

  • Loading ratio: Workpiece: Abrasive = 1:2 (max loading 80L, 65% capacity); water level 2~3cm above abrasives (no dry grinding).
  • Speed setting: Rough grinding/small parts 150~180r/min; fine grinding/large parts 60~120r/min.
  • Automatic 90° flip discharging + manual auxiliary screening; recyclable abrasives.

 

Maintenance

  • Degrease workpieces before grinding; clean tank and separator daily.
  • Lubricate main bearings every 500 running hours; full lubrication every 1000 hours.
  • Replace wearing parts (bearings 3510/8210, oil seals 50×70×12) when abnormal.
  • Protect PU lining from sharp objects & strong acid/alkali.
