Product Description
The grinding force of magnetic stainless steel pins increases with the diameter. The selection is mainly based on the hardness of workpiece materials:
- For hard materials such as stainless steel and iron: Pins with a diameter of 0.8mm and above are recommended.
- For soft materials such as copper, aluminum and zinc alloy: Pins with a diameter of less than 0.8mm are recommended.
The grinding effect is also affected by the magnetic intensity and stepless adjustment function of the magnetic grinding machine. Several trial tests are suggested to confirm the most suitable specification.
The diameter and length of the pins shall match the hole size and gap of the workpiece. For grinding inner holes and narrow gaps of workpieces, 3mm-length pins are highly recommended for optimal performance.
