The Drag Finishing Machine is a high-efficiency driven polishing machine independently developed by Xindingsheng, exclusively designed for long-strip workpieces and special-shaped precision components such as smart wear accessories, drills, end mills, jewelry, and pharmaceutical tablet punches. It solves industry pain points of traditional polishers: uneven processing, low efficiency, and poor finishing results.
Adopting an innovative "fixed abrasive + planetary workpiece movement" structure, the upper rotating disc (driven by a K-type geared motor) drives workpieces to achieve high-speed rotation and revolution simultaneously, while the lower grinding tank remains stationary. An automatic lifting device precisely adjusts the processing gap, generating strong friction between workpieces and abrasives for uniform, fast grinding and polishing-outperforming ordinary polishing equipment.
Integrated with PLC intelligent control, Delta frequency conversion stepless speed regulation, and safety door interlock protection, the machine offers high automation, easy operation, stable operation, and low noise. It can load 20 workpieces per batch, supporting both rough grinding and fine grinding with the same bucket. Ideal for precision processing in cutting tool and precision manufacturing industries.

Working Principle

 

1.Select manual/automatic mode via HMI and set parameters (speed, grinding time) based on processing needs.
2.Fasten workpieces to chucks; move the abrasive-loaded grinding tank to the lift and position accurately.
3.Start the machine: K-type geared motor drives the primary disc, rotating 5 secondary discs (revolution around the primary disc) while secondary discs drive workpieces to rotate at high speed (rotation)-forming a planetary motion trajectory.
4.The automatic lifting device raises the grinding tank to immerse workpieces in abrasives; strong friction between workpieces and fixed abrasives achieves fast, uniform polishing.
5.After processing, the machine shuts down automatically, the tank lowers, and workpieces can be unloaded by opening the safety door.
