Usage Instructions
Liquid abrasives can be used directly without dilution. Paste-form abrasives-commonly referred to as polishing pastes-may be used directly or diluted with a polishing fluid prior to use; those diluted with oil are termed oil-soluble polishing pastes, while those diluted with water are termed water-soluble polishing pastes. Solid abrasives (polishing soaps) exist as solid blocks at room temperature and may be used directly or diluted with a polishing fluid before application.
Applications
Scope of Application:
Suitable for the polishing of soft-material optical spherical lenses with an abrasion resistance rating of 250 or higher. When mixed at a ratio of 1:2 (BYMJ to polishing powder), this product effectively resolves lens corrosion issues encountered during the grinding process.
Product Features:
This product is primarily designed to address lens corrosion phenomena (such as "Arabie" marks and white spots) that occur during the polishing process.
