Standard Operating Procedures
- Pre-commissioning: Turn on the main switch, add an appropriate amount of tap water + water-based grinding fluid into the PV grinding tank, and put in stainless steel grinding pins of suitable specifications. Adjust the frequency to 20-30HZ to disperse the pins evenly. Add workpieces gradually until the workpiece rotation slows down but does not stop-excessive workpieces will cause uneven grinding and extend grinding time.
- Workpiece Cleaning: Thoroughly remove oil stains from workpiece surfaces before polishing (degreaser soaking, ultrasonic cleaning, etc.). Polishing fluid cannot remove a large amount of oil stains, which will cause blackening of workpieces, grinding pins and grinding tank.
- Parameter Setting: According to workpiece material and grinding requirements, set the total grinding time and forward/reverse time (recommended to set equally to the total time). Adjust the frequency to the suitable gear (20-30HZ for soft metals, 30-40HZ for hard metals, 15-20HZ for hard plastics).
- Start Grinding: Press the start button, the machine runs automatically. The operating status and remaining time can be monitored in real time on the panel display during grinding.
- Shutdown & Separation: The machine stops automatically after grinding, or press the stop button manually. Lower the equipment frequency, lift out the grinding tank (residual magnetism is eliminated during magnetic field operation), separate workpieces from grinding pins with a sieve/separator, then clean and dry the workpieces.
- Maintenance of Grinding Pins & Equipment: Clean the separated grinding pins with cleaning fluid and put them back into the grinding tank; if not used for 1-2 days, clean the pins and store them in a dry place. Clean the grinding tank and equipment surface in time after use to keep them tidy.
Notes for Use
- Safe Operation: Do not put hands into the grinding tank or take out the tank when the machine is running to prevent equipment damage and personal injury. Dry the workpieces in time after polishing to improve surface finish and prevent oxidation.
- Electrical Protection: Do not pour water, grinding fluid or debris into the tank rack to prevent moisture and short circuit of electrical components. Clean the equipment and keep the grinding tank dry when not in use.
- Consumable Storage: If the machine is not used for more than 2 days after each polishing, clean the stainless steel grinding pins, store them in a dry and sealed place to prevent rust and agglomeration.
- Abnormality Handling: Immediately press the emergency stop button to shut down the machine if abnormal noise, weakened magnetic field or non-flowing grinding pins are found during operation. Continue to use only after the cause is identified; contact the manufacturer's after-sales service for unknown faults in time.
- Equipment Protection: The equipment must be grounded independently to avoid magnetic field interference with surrounding precision instruments. The PV grinding tank is a vulnerable part-do not impact or scratch it with hard tools to prevent tank damage.
